Trickle-down technology can be a wonderful thing. The 2008 EX-5.5 features the same frame and rear shock as last year’s EX-8 – a bike that retailed at £1800. With air shocks delivering 130mm of travel front and 120mm travel rear, riders of all shapes and sizes can achieve a balanced ride. Not only that, but both shocks have rebound adjustability and lockout features – very impressive for a full suspension bike at under a grand! A Deore 27 speed groupset and Deore hydraulic discs complete this fantastic value bike.
