Gary Fisher could quite easily be credited with starting mountain biking. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't be here! Always known for doing things slightly differently, his influence can still be seen on the latest range of bikes. Genesis and Genesis 2 geometry allow riders to attack the trails hard but still keep riding all day. Of course, Gary Fisher bikes are now becoming synonymous with 29er mountain bikes – that is, mountain bikes with larger 29" diameter wheels. Bikes such as the Paragon, Rig, HiFi 29er and the Superfly allow riders to climb with more traction, roll over obstacles better, carry more speed through corners – basically, go faster than everyone else!
